Catalog page is from the 1889 Ericsson 2nd catalog. Magneto Switch hook Telephone with Brass and Nickel trim and separate receiver and transmitter. Framework is polished walnut and marbleized hardwood veneer. 1889 was the first year for this style of pulpit which is taller than both the earlier 1882 design and also most later models. The model #1 Telephone is 29.5 inches or 75 centimeter tall by 7.9 inches or 20 centimeter wide and weighs 17.2 pounds or 7.8kg. This phone had its original battery cover refurbished at the Ericsson factory approx. 1902-1905 based on logo and wood grain pattern. |

Bell motor has original logo of Stockholm's Allmänna

correct original 1889 Tin battery cover was refinished at factory
approx. 1902-1905.
