My Ericsson #8 double crank

One of the earliest Ericsson Skeletal models
(sometimes called an Eiffel Tower Telephone or The Sewing Machine)

Extremely Rare double crank type skeletal designed for use in offices to be shared by two workers on opposing sides of a desk. Left hand crank is connected to the primary crank via a shaft running along the top deck. This shaft passes through the bottom of wooden cradle support leading to the distinctive design change from other skeletal models.

Twin openings for wall terminal cord on each side of brass bell motor connection

Pre-1895 models shared the same chassis as early swingarm models including the extra ridge behind the generator cut-out as is shown on this model.
