| The SSH
"original" is based on a copy of an
original large Helleberg from the 1930s using a
"truer Helleberg" narrower, flatter and
sharper edge bite rim than is seen today. It has
a more open throat than most other
"Helleberg" mouthpieces and is slightly
larger as well with an Inner Diameter of 33.45
mm. The exterior shell is based on designs seen
in the 1970s. |

| The SSH
"Classic" takes the SSH
"original" and places it in a 1930s
type Helleberg exterior shell. The rim, funnel
depth, throat and width are exactly the same as
the SSH "original". Some customers have
reported the ability to play louder with less
sound break up due to the added bit of mass below
the rim and near the throat that is an offshoot
of the classic Helleberg exterior design. |

SSH-MBII

The SSH-MBII is a stainless steel medium
bowl cup mouthpiece similar to the Bobo Solo and
C4 types but with several twists. The outer shell
is from the 1930s and the mouthpiece uses a a new
smaller version of the SSH rim that is also used
on the SSH-II funnel cup. Both a standard and
large throat version are available in American
shank.

| The SSH-II is based on a copy of an
original smaller Helleberg from the 1930s but
using a new smaller version of the SSH rim. It
has a more pronounced funnel, narrower inner
diameter, and an even more open throat than other
Helleberg mouthpieces including the SSH original and
SSH classic (8.50 mm vs 8.28 mm). |
